I finally finished my bachelors degree at the age of 24. Did you finish college or still studying? What age did you earn your degree?

I am currently pursuing BEng in Elecrical and Electronics Engineering, and expecting to graduate by 2010, and possibly continuing MEng until 2011. It will be 2 months before my 21 birthday by the time I completing my bachelor degree.

That is going to be a very exciting year for you - the 2010. You will graduate at a very young age and I bet you will have a good future in your choice, The demand for it is very high. I have a friend who is the same field and he is earning too much. I guess he is planning to retire soon at the age of 42.

Hope with aggressive moves to humble down the present economic crisis in the world is what our leaders can do now. Let us pray harder and do our best to help the world economy recover.

Year 2010 or 2011 not only will be critical for me, but the world as well. With current economic downturn, the worst situation might reach in 2010 or 2011, or will the economy actually at the start of a new economic cycle at 2010-2011, or worse still, the world economy might go into a zero/negative growth for an extended period, like 5 or 10 years. We will only get to know the answer by 2010 or 2011. This is why I only play a small role of my future only.

I am currently studying for my bachelors degree. I did another education to become a primary school teacher first, but did not finish it. Everyone told me I would be perfect for the job but when I actually started to take the course I found out it wasn't the thing I wanted. Even though I loved working with children. Now I am studying to become a pedagogue and get a bachelor degree in social studies. I am 22 years old and in my second year (total of 4).

The hardest and the most rewarding of all teachers is taking care and teaching children as they grow. To be a teacher for toddlers and prep years is very hard. You are like the second parent of the children. I bet they will love as the way they love their parents for you have cared for them as your own.

Yes. You have to go to college. I remember a day when I read a story about an old woman who went to college to earn a degree. When she was asked why is she in school at the age of 70 she calmly replied with this. " Growing old is mandatory, growing up is a choice." She said she never had the chance to get into college because they were very poor. She have always wanted to have a degree in college and she did at the age no one would have imagined. She rested in peace very happy and fulfilled with her dream.

That has been really a lot of hard work. I remember the times when I can't do anything else but study for the coming examinations. I miss studying at school setting. I usually study now to gain some knowledge to my passion and increase my skill in planting.

I finished my Bachelor's Degree when I was twenty-four as well. The sad thing is that I started college when I was eighteen. Though I can argue that I took off one semester, changed my major after 1 1/2 years and also was completetng my credential at the same time. I was in the blended program at the time and right when I had about two classes left of my teacher credential, my advisor advised me to get out of the blended, so I ended up graduating by never went back to finish my credential. Needless to say, I am now turning 26 in a couple months and still with no career. I do plan to finish my schooling this fall, so I am excited as I find myself longing for studying and exams sometimes. Weird, but I miss school.

We have almost the same fate in our school time. I took off too due to financial reasons. I come from a very poor family. My grandmother financed my studies and she wanted me to take a course I don't like. But, I am very grateful to her for her generosity. I can use the knowledge I gained from the course of her choice to my family whenever they are ill or even if they are not ill. I never had the chance to formally practice the profession too. Now, I read books and study on my own for my passion. I love plants. I started a nursery of plants last year. It is slowly picking up clients. This is my happiness.
