A Chinese living in Netherland takes great pleasure to share what he experienced in Netherland. 1. For two months, his electricity expense was way up than usual, for which a call came from the power sompany, offering to check if there is any leakage, resulting in the increase. 2. Twice he received penalty notice for passing red light, which was followed by a call from the police station, asking if there is any comment on the traffic lights, whether the lights are easily seen, or the green time is too short, etc. How would you comment?

While working through the discrepancies with the electricity charges can be challenging and frustrating, it's doable. As for asking about the traffic lights, I admire the Netherlands for their people-oriented stance. This implies that, if there is something wrong, they'll be willing to work on improving things. If only all public servants were as public-minded!
