About last week I cheated about creating the right ticket for a certain customer at work.We have some metrics to meet and I am failing my stats. So with my supervisors approval he taught me something wrong that would improve my stats.I know it was wrong but I don't wanna lose my job by being so "by-the-book" type of employee. When you follow the rules and do the right thing..you fail but for those who cheat...they pass the metrics and get the recognition from the company.sigh. I love my job and if I continue to do such things..I lose my job.

It's funny because it was your supervisor who taught you the ropes to stop being "by the book" so you can get yourself "off the hook". Lol! Well i hope he/she is not just testing you if you'll try it or not. Regardless, you can always point the finger at him/her lol! Yeah i did some things wrong, i criticised my brother's cooking on my blog and i've been using illegal free internet from Smart. In fact, i'm using it now to respond to your discussions.

one great hacker in the house...mishu modstar..it's just now that i had the time to answer discussions or create discussions.. Yeah..I got caught last week and informed my sup that I had the choice.I will not bring him with me or even point him that he was the one who taught me that illegal act.I had a choice and I chose to do the wrong one.So if there's someone to be blame here...that would be ME..just ME. I was just happy that the sup who caught me was a friend of neil and co-sup and just asked me to explain to his agent what happened.Too glad also that I have to explain to a guy...I used my charm...but what the heck...I still signed for a discussion log..should that be a sign for me not to commit the same mistake again?..

Stats lie. Businesses use KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) which are generally badly selected and don't actually indicate that you're doing a good job or not. I've never lied to make them look better, but I've been lucky enough to have bosses who understood that a statistic doesn't define how well I'm working. And they have always known that if it were needed, I'd happily go and tell the Directors that their performance system sucked. If your supervisor showed you how to work around the numbers system, there's a good chance that they consider you a good worker. This is what matters. Twisting the numbers is just to avoid them getting hassle when they know that your work is fine. Provided you're not cheating to advance, but simply to make the stats match your work's actual quality, I don't see a problem.

Honestly the new rules are so uncontrollable. If you code or do the ticket properly..you'll be marked down for it..if you do bogus things it will not be noticed bec.it was a fake ticket. But hopefully by April I'll be back to my normal ms.nice gal.I will not mind that they'll give me a file note for not meeting the metrics(which are actually uncontrollable but it will be against your stats)instead of do the wrong thing.I'd rather accept the file note and explain to them that the new rules are just a piece of crap and it's so unreasonable and so uncontrollable instead of getting fired bec.I cheated.
