I was giving comments on different responses I got in my post about planting or gardening if it was too early... I click one response there and I was scared since it detects some virus...I wasn't able to see the handle name because I close it right away...what I remembered was, the response was too short...I hate it!!!!!! and maybe this time, when the name is not familiar to me, I will not entertain it...This is scary!

Yes, this has happened to me. What I do is delete anything unfamiliar and do not o[en forwarded mail. I really can't deal with a virus on my pc as it is what I use for work. We have to be so careful these days. there are some sick people out there who like to wreak havoc on people that they don't even know. Never ever take a chance - it is not worth the effort of getting your pc cleaned. Blessings

Hi Che, Sorry to hear that happens to you. It did not happen to me yet that there is a response with virus.. and I hope it will not happen to me.. LOL.. Anyway, when I suspect virus from the message sent to me whether here or in my email, I will not open it but instead, delete it right away.. But anyway, we don't know it if is intentionally done of just a coincidence. And you are right!! if you are not familiar with the responder, better not to reply it. Have a nice day.

Hi Bebs, belated happy Easter to you and your hubby! I am careful now since I hate to open any virus again...I am not expert about computer and I might be messing up with this PC again...you know! I wish to respond or comment or newbies post but I want to make sure that they are here really seriously and I will check now how many post they have before I will respond to them!

I don't know if this has ever happened to me. I used to have a firefox add on that sent up a lot of red flags around mylot alone, but I never tried to detect it down to one person. Instead I got rid of the add on. It is scary for all these viruses and etc to be going through the internet, especially when we're not always sure of what type of virus they are! Try to get the most up to date virus protection if you don't already have it! Have a great day!

Hello checapricorn, It has never happened to me before. But, I didn't really get you. You were checking your e-mail that time when the new response came or you were here, giving some comments when it happened? How did it detect the virus? Oh, so many questions from me now!

Better report it the administrator immediately. You can check it in your email and the name of that person who sent you virus will be seen. I hope all mylotters will be kind.

I have never experience such situation here in mylot. I have a good antivirus though. But probably that guy posted some links with a virus on it? Or probably the one who posted it does not know that there is virus in his or her computer and might have send it along with his or her post. I really don't know if this is possible. But just to be sure, we will just have to activate always our computer antivirus.

Wow , that is scarey! No , I have not had that happen and I hope I never will. I wonder if it was done on purpose or was it just that someone else who was posting a question, had a virus and honestly didnt know...

Nope i haven't experience this kind of problem. And if i do, my anti virus would take care of it. i see to it that i always update my anti virus everyday online. But since we are alarmed about the new virus that will come, i don't think that coming online on April 1 will be ok for some or bad for some. But i think that Mylot will not allow someone from here who will send a virus to a member. But anyway be sure you update your anti virus. I wonder what kind of anti virus you are using right now?
