The Beer and Ice Cream Diet????

Since it takes 1 calorie to heat 1 gram of water, the process in which your body warms ice cream to body temperature creates a caloric deficit. WHAT THIS MEANS....in order to warm the food, your body takes energy from the most readily available resource - your body fat. IS IT POSSIBLE...that one can lose weight by eating a diet of all cold foods? Including pizza and beer? According to the laws of physics, yes. What do you think?

owlwings is correct. Even though you do spend calories on the body effort of cooling the food down, there is much excess calories on the food that you intake. There are other ways of losing weight by eating - what you should opt to eat are Negative Calorie Foods which are mostly berries and vegetables because they are rich in fiber. It takes more effort in actual digestion than the calories they contain. Thanks for the response on my discussion!

I think ice cream contains to many calories to create a deficit. I do think that you can lose weight by drinking ice water since it contains no calories and uses calories to eat negative calories. I think it is only like 1 to 10 calories per glass you drink so it will take a long time to lose the 4900 calories to lose one pound. Its all a big game of math.
