Have you ever broke a Zyrtec pill in half?

i have never taken zyrtec but i don't see why it would hurt to cut any pill into.

As long as they are not Enteric coated(time released) pills they should be fine to cut in half. If they are time released and you cut it in half then it will release all the medicine at once. That might not be bad for you, but it will not last as long as if you took a whole pill.

I don't know about Zyrtec but I would check with your doctor or pharmacist first. If it's something that you take every day then you never know what kind of side effect it might have if you halve it.

hi moneymommy! i have not noticed if zyrtec has a groove on it. Try to see it and if there is a groove looking like its divided into half, then you can break it into halves. If there is no groove on the tablet, then its definitely you are not allowed to break it into halves. I know this reply is late but then i hope this information is useful to you.
