Best method of advertising: PTC ads, banner rotations, or side panel ads?

Which do you find works best for you (as far as getting the most referrals)? Buying PTC ads, banner rotations, or side panel ads? Which am I best off with buying? I'm making it my goal in April to advertise myLot as much as possible and get more than the 3 referrals that I currently have (lol). I thought it was a good idea to start advertising on PTC sites such as Deal Barbie Dollar Click & other PTC sites. What do you think? Is this kind of advertising a good way to get referrals? If so, which do you prefer (or think is the most effective route to go): buying PTC ads, banner rotations, or side panel ads? Please help me out! I'm entirely new at all of this advertising stuff.
