It's time to put together a recall for Nancy Polosi as speaker of the house;

United States
March 30, 2009 1:44pm CST
She is nothing more than a political monster. Has no political concept, on our American values. She is a disgrace to herself, to the party she represents, and to the American people. It's time for you to step down Polosi and leave any political ambitions you might still have, before you do anymore harm to yourself and to the American people of the United States. We need to start a petion now before it's to late. Next in line is Barny Frank, Harry Reid, etc. Out with the old, in with the new. Times awasting it's now or never.

Unfortunately the only people who can recall her are the people who live in California. Recalls are done with in the state. And, if I'm not mistaken , a recall in california must be done through the legislature, I don't know if a referendum is possible. I'm working on an amendment to our state constitution, one that would trigger a recall vote by state referendum, of any congressional member who performs his service in a constitutionaly contradicted manner or takes part in the enacting of unconstitutional legislation. don't know if i can get it before the legislature (we can do that in new hampshire) or not, still studying the proceedure, but I may just try and do it as a state referendum. It's about time we started remembering we do have leashes for them.

You'll get no argument from me. I think Pelosi has drunk way too much KoolAid. Don't forget Timothy Geithner. He's a disgrace to this nation.

Love her or hate her, apparently the people from her district in California like her well enough to keep sending her back to D.C. and they're the only ones with the power to remove her from office. As far as her position as Speaker of the House, I don't know how this would work but the only thing I can think of is to contact your Representative and tell him or her you'd like Pelosi to be replaced as Speaker. I don't think anyone who is not a Democrat would have any say there, either, but I'm not sure. Out of curiosity, are there any members of the much less popular Republicans in Congress you'd also like to oust? Annie

Judd Gregg for starters, and I do mean just for starters.

Yeah, there are a lot of Republicans that should be ousted too. I can't think of any Democrat that should be kept, and I'm sure there are not too many Republicans we should keep. Any of them that voted for the largest spending bill in history (the "stimulus" package) without even reading the bill should be voted out.

Perhaps the Californians keep sending her to DC just to get her the hell out of California? Too bad we can't send her back!

I agree 100% that this arrogant self serving woman should be gone but I doubt that anything we do will get her gone. It is up to the people in her state to get a good viable candidate to run against her and get her voted out - the sooner the better. One would think with Schwarznegger in that same state with her behaviout as speaker it shouldn't be too difficult. It doesn't matter what way she goes it is vitally important for the well being of the people of the USA that she does GO as soon as posssible. But if this happens I would like to bet that with her arrogance and being so full of herself she'd run for President - even if it was against Obama.
