Hi, I like to type as the more i type the faster it gets. I built up my typing skills when I do a lot of chatting last time. What build up your typing skills? Keyboard is a must- have when it comes to typing. However, there is on- screen keyboard that you can type by selecting the letters using mouse click. Its slow. Do you enjoy typing?

I love to type. I guess because I have taken computer classes & typing classes in college. I love the computer so I know that is why I love to type. But I had no idea about the use of the mouse, but I know I would not like that way to type. I want to go back to college & I have been thinking about what major I want. I like the lab & the computer both. So I am trying to think about what I want to take. My daughter gets on to me & tells me I am procrastinating. But I am not I am trying to make up my mind & I don't want to make the wrong choice.

I had the privilege of learning touch typing when I was enrolled in the Navy when I was 18 years of age. I had to do a compulsory 2.5 year stint in the Service then. I was training to be a communicator, and one of the requirements of the job was that I should be able to type at least 35 words a minute. This skill I learned has helped me in my subsequent career, because in my work, I have been typing on computer keyboards for the past 20+ years. Like driving, typing is a skill that stays with me for life. I can type quite fast with all my fingers, and don't have to look for the keys on the keyboard when I type. It makes typing enjoyable for me.

I really do enjoy typing. I learned the basics of typing when I was in junior high school. I'm glad that I received that information because when the chatting/IM era I was immersed in all of it. I would have quite a few windows open conversing with random people that I had met online. I actually made quite a few friends on the AIM chat that I actually met in person...and I'm still friends with them. By having the multiple IM windows open and to make it seem like I was not talking to anyone else. You know devoting my attention to one person. LOL.....Kind of like when you mutli-task and try and talk on the phone with a friend. You really can do multiple things at the same time. LOL But typing takes practice. Much like how must teens now a days have become expert texters on their cell phone. Practice!

I'm a pretty fast typer. During these past few years I've been typing a lot and just a few months ago I did a test that shows you how many words per minute you can write. Believe it or not i got about 100 words per minute. When I type something, I don't think twice, I just write and that's it.

Well, I hate typing. Although my typing speed is quite good, and I developed this skill with continuous usage of Computer. I wish I could get things done simply by giving voice commands to my system!!

i actually do like to type but not long reports or page after page. i like the typing i do on the internet like emails etc. i have always liked typewriters, computers, adding machines and cash registers for some reason. i like the buttons and keys for some odd reason. i am a fairly good typer too because i am on the internet all the time and my skills have definitely improved.

I also like typing and it also one of the reason to join this site. I always use to chat with my friends when I found someone online. But since I am on mylot I have realized it has helped me more than chatting with friends to improve my typing skills. Typing is also important thing if you are in field related to computers.

Yes I love typing very much. It started since I was 15 years old and my father had too much of official work load so in the evening he use to get his typing work at home and I to sit watching. By watching it I learnt operating computers and then I started asking my father to give the work to me and that's how I started typing and speed went on increasing with time. My father was very happy seeing that I am helping him with so much interes and he gifted me a laptop on my birthday. Now my typing speed is very good and I enjoy typing a lot. I can sit for whole day typing continuously.

I have ended up being a secretary, so without consciously thinking about it, I think I must say that "Yes" I do like typing. I spend at least 8-10 hours a day in front of my keyboard, either at work or at home, so my keyboard feels like an extension of my hands. I am fortunate that I have gotten quite quick now, so it is not a labourious task to type, it can be fun to chat, since the thoughts and sentences spill onto the page with ease. I think the world is now so dominated by computers that it is a skill that most people ought to have. However, I don't like it when people get sloppy and use too much text-speak when they type. I much prefer it when people write in full what it is they wish to say. :)

Hi there! I like typing very much. Call me weird but I even volunteer to type our group's papers and projects every now and then. Not only that, but I love to type because I am very fast at doing it. That's why our group is very efficient. One dictates, I type what he or she says and we are done.

I like typing. My average typing speed is between 45 - 50 in a good keyboard. But I hate using the on-screen keyboard. I don't like playing using mouse to type.
