I enjoy gardening. But I am new in gardening and still learning. Sometimes I met with problems. When time comes to March, the weather was getting warmer and warmer. I thought it was better time to plant in my garden. Two weeks ago, I bought some tomato and chili seedlings to plant in my vegetable garden. I was busy for the whole day. But in the next day, it turned colder and began to sleet at night. Hails bigger like golfs hitted on my garden and destroyed all my seedling. I was so sad. I want to know what kind of problem did you meet with when gardening? How did you handle it?

The biggest problem this year and even last is the weather. Everything seems to be about three weeks behind because it just doesn't seem to be warming up. One day it is super nice and we get out there and the next we can have snow! This is not good. A problem, that I have met when gardening the past two years is a bug on my sage plants and the snapdragons that is called scale. Hard shelled critters that burrow into my plants sucking the life right out of them. I am to use an oil on the plants before it begins the new season. If I don't get at them in time, I use the oil directly onto the scale. This way it smothers them and hopefully they will perish so to not further infect my garden. This has been somewhat troublesome and very sad also. Besides these two things, I find much pleasure gardening and hardly ever am I faced with problems.

You are most welcome. Thank you for your comment. I find that the internet is a great source of information we may learn from. Also, if you find a bug in your garden that is raising havoc and you are unsure what it is, sometimes local universities that have a botanical or horticulture department would be happy to assist you as well.

I like like to start planting in April when it's warm and there's some rain. They say"April showers bring May flowers". Sometimes bugs get in to my plants and I don't care for that. I don't like insecticents natural remety's are better.

I like gardening and there are some people who have better luck with their gardens than others. I am hoping to have a big garden this year and there a number of factors that need to come together for that to happen. I guess that there are soem that will have to happen for my garden to come together. It is cold for one thing.
