Have you ever paid a bribe?

In India in most of the Govt offices your file will not be moved quickly unless you pay a bribe.At least a traffic constable will not give you a ticket if you bribe him. I wanna know if have you ever paid a bribe.

ya ive done that many times , like ,im 16 and ive a hot bike so how can i resist driving it and running it fast on main roads , now many times i was caught 4 speeding and not having license, by the pandu havaldar , but i always bribe them with a 1000 re note ,lol, and they just leave u.i used to luv bribing people before but now i don't like it becaz of some personal reasons ,and now im anti-bribing .

::sighs:: This is everywhere then. In Egypt, it's the same. My dad used to pay thrice as much money as bribe as it is needed for some paperwork to get done, but he stopped and said that he'd rather wait the entire day in a Govt office than pay someone a sum of money they do not deserve. To be honest, this is the policy everyone is taking up in Egypt nowadays, and that's why this decreased a little...

Bakshish is one thing we give on special occasions like holi, deepawali to our subordinates but bribe I have never given.
