I am one of those people who can be in the middle of the mall shopping and total strangers come up to me and start telling me their problems and I listen. I am one of those people who can be in a grocery store check out line or in a parking lot or whereever and people come to me...does anyone else have that happen to them

Hi summerfire, it must be nice to have people come up to you like that, it doesn't happen to me but instead I am the one who will talk to anyone, wether at the cashout, in the street anywhere...am just being friendly that's all most people appreciate it some don't, but if I saw you in the car park probably I would come and say hi to you too! bb littleowl

Right after I returned home after hurricane Katrina it seemed everywhere I went people were volunteering their stories and telling me more than I ever could want to know about their own ordeals. Of course when they asked me about my experience and I said that I lived in a section of the 20% of the city that was not underwater their whole attitude would change. One woman got nasty and said "Well, your levee could have broken too."

guess we just have that kind of face. i don't mind listening to anyone. sometimes people just need to talk. i think it's a compliment for people to do that.
