does anyone have a front yard

Yeah, I have a front yard that I used to plant vegetables and flowers. But, as I let my dog stay in the front yard, she always destroyed my plants, hence I finally decided to move the vegetables outside of my yard. The place where I currently plant the vegetables is not really considered mine, but most people here plant either fruits or vegetables there, it's just in front of the yard and beside the road. The area is not big, but it's enough for me to plant a few vegetables.

We do have a front yard but I prefer to have just flowers and shrubs there and keep my veggies in the backyard, away from the neighbourhood kids who tend to get into mischief and would be grabbing things they shouldn't. If we have a fence up between our front yard and the sidewalk we would put more things in the front yard. I do have plans to put a new fence up around our property and at that time we would put up a nice fence. Just big enough to keep out the kids without destroying the view. We get a lot of sun but the front of the house doesn't see any of the sun until the afternoon and even then we have some big trees along the road that cast shade across the front yard for most of the afternoon. I would not want to take those trees out just to get more sun when we have lots of sun in the backyard. They are Maple trees and they looks so nice all summer long and then in the fall they change to the most beautiful colours.

We do have a front yard, but it's probably not big enough for any kind of garden. If we're going to put anything in the front yard, it would probably be something like flowers. There is a spot in our backyard where we have a garden. It was the first time that we had a garden. We've been in our house almost a year and half, so that's why the garden is only there for one year so far.

I don't - my front yard is too small & there's not enough space to have a garden in it, so we use the back yard. Good luck with your garden!
