Okay, People can sign up on "donotcall.gov" to stop the unsolicit calls from telemarketers, even though 50% works that way. What about unsolicit mail advertising to your home mailbox? How do you stop it, or is there a website you can sign on to stop it coming to your house again?

I don't think there's anything you can do about junk mail, unfortunately. Just grin, and bare it - and keep a recycling box (for paper) next to your mail box or in your porch so that you can throw the junk mail directly in it. The problem is that once you give your information the wrong company just as little as ONE time, HUNDREDS of companies could have your information by now. (This is why it's important to read the "privacy policy" on any online OR offline form you're filling out where address is required). I get a lot of junk mail due to signing up for "free offers" on GPT sites - but it doesn't bother me so much.
