For those who are divorced or separated... do you still keep the rings?

I'm just curious. Do you guys still keep the wedding rings? The gifts and all that reminds you of that event when you got married to that person?
What do you guys do with it anyway?

My mom kept the rings from being married to my dad even after she got remarried. She said she is keeping them for me. She says they will be mine one day so I can kind of understand why some people do it. It is something your children can have later on if you had kids during the marriage that ended.
