ok.........this is for all other world leaders..........please........we MUST keep our voices down.........we don't want the masses to hear us........it's time again to hold our G 20 summit meeting.......this year the meeting will be held in the secret clubhouse in the queen of England's backyard.............remember.........very important.........don't let the common folk hear about it..........you know how pissed they get when they're reminded of the economic sh!thole we've put them in.
this year the secret password is B-A-I-L-O-U-T........and absolutely NO ONE will be admitted if they don't know the secret hand shake.
see how easy that was, the G 20 summit is an economic meeting between WORLD LEADERS, i see no reason why they need to tell anyone else about this meeting until it's all over and only if they have some worthwhile news to report.
instead, here's the way it really goes down every year.

The stupid protesters smashed up a branch of the RBS bank - trouble is WE OWN the &&**%%$$ bank now!! The UK taxpayers are the majority shareholders in the bank! Talk about banging your head against a brick wall.. Not that the protesters are likely to be either British OR taxpayers.. they are most likely MORON visitors from the planet MYANUS. the ones I saw looked a bit like this...
OK rant over - Here's the problem with your plan - there needs to public singing and dancing to accompany the 'we have solved the world crisis' message that was actually thrashed out at the secret meetings BEFORE the public G20 event... The point of the summit is to be able to make people think the crisis is over or at least under control. You can't have secret 'hype' now can you??

Well how the heck else are they supposed to spend a ton of our hard earned money and put on a big show like they know what they are doing and are going to improve the economy.

Hmm. Sounds like you're buying a chance to write for Jon Stewart or Colbert. I think that no matter what occurs someone will always complain. It could be Utopia and some sourpuss out there would pipe up "It's too peaceful". Though, on the more serious side as I'm feeling a tad philosophical tonight, I've been thinking about H.G. Wells quite a bit lately. I've been thinking of two stories in particular, The Island of Dr. Moreau, and The Time Machine.
I think part of me wonders if perhaps animals are more peaceful then human's. I also have been giving quite a bit of thought to the Morlocks and Eloi. I mean, it's very much the same as what we witness today. We have the laborers that do all the work to support the upper crust, and yet the upper crust are completely naieve, and don't even value their own written word or history.
I'm not sure what the best solution is for all of this, other then to continue to do our best as human beings to strive toward a larger goal.

i don't know about Stewart or Colbert.......more like Jerry Seinfeld.
i'm just making an observation that every time they have one of these G 20 summits, people show up and tear up the host city.
look at what they did to Seattle and Melbourne and now as i was watching the news this morning, i see the same thing happening in London.
so, i was just thinking, maybe they shouldn't even announce the summit and just hold their meeting privately without Joe Citizen even knowing about it.
it's not like anything we say or our protests change anything anyhoo.
as for the last part of your response, vote for me as your world leader, and i will promise you a global block party every day and the choice of a Morlock or an Eloi on every dinner plate..........just as soon as i'm done with my time machine.

Yeah, I agree. I've never quite understood the whole thing. Maybe that's why I stick to other things in life and didn't major in economics, law, or the like lol. So, you've sold me. You've got my vote for world leader. So long as I get a lifetime supply of cheesecake with hot fudge. Oh, and a chance to meet Gary Sinese (who used the Morlock line in Ransom-awesome movie).
