If I have a daughter I will always remind her "just take it slow". Don't be too aggressive and impulsive. I will remind her to do things in a right way at the right time and place. I will remind her to think many time before making a decision.

My father has three daughters, and he would always joke with us that "men are pigs!" As a very well-mannered, non "piggish" man, this would always make us laugh, but we got his point. Teenage girls are still just enough of children to be very trusting, and they need to be reminded that it is okay to be skeptical of someone, or have high standards (I'm careful not to use the word "judge" too loosely, but in essence, you want them to judge guys with a reasonable mind before they fall head over heels for them!) Of course, growing up is learning as you go, but I definitely think girls should be taught to really look at a person's character before going out with them, and that it's okay if they don't like the guy that they're "supposed" to like (ie big man on campus) if they get a bad vibe.
