I want to know the best way to celebrate birthday. One of my friend celebrate her birthday by inviting lots of her friend to an expensive restaurant and spending lot of money. I do not have that much money to spend. Sometimes I feel bad on my birthday that I am unable to invite my friends for celebration. How do you celebrate your birthday?

You don't have to feel bad for being unable to invite friends to a grand birthday celebration! You can celebrate with your friends with very minimal money involved! You're friends won't mind if your celebration is not grand! What is important is that you all get to spend time together and have fun. A typical Birthday celebration for me is having my closest friends for dinner at our house. And mind you, my birthday dinner are not always fancy. There were years that we get to splurge, and there are years that there's just no budget for fancy foods yet my friends would still insist on coming over for dinner and we just have what is available! But we are all happy and then after dinner we'd go hang out in the lawn and have coffee and one of the guys would play the guitar and we'd all take turns singing and laughing and reminiscing til the wee hours of the morning. It's not the food, it's not the presents, it's not the place that matters... It's the people that are important to you and consider you important to them. It's the togetherness that makes a birthday celebration (or any celebration for that matter) the best! :o)

it doesnt me that you have to celebrate your birthday by having lots of friends surround you and by spending tons of money. just do whatever that makes you happy. for me, i love celebrating birthdays for it comes just once a year..make the best out of it. i usually take the day off from work and like to spend time with my loved ones and sometimes if i have the budget, go for a mini vacation. there is no finer way then spending your birthday with the people you love and who loves you!

Go to the temple in the morning with your faily and friends. Eat prasad as the first morsel of the day. Also share your prasad with your family members and friends. Later give some money or other articles to the needy. Next time try this type of celebrations.

Hello! My birthday was last April 3(Friday), but ever since I don't like celebrating my birthday with lots of food and party and whatever because I dreaded people greeting me on my birthday so I just go to the 5:30pm mass and went home. But I treated myself to a shopping mall by buying one pair of a night robe which I'd been planning for the past years.LOL! Well, my parents used to celebrate my birthday by preparing lots of food and inviting their friends. For me the best way to celebrate your birthday with out spending big amount of money is by inviting your friends and going out to the beach, well to not-too-expensive beach and have fun together.

A simple dinner with family and close friends. This is also the best time for my loved ones to gather around and get to know each other even better. For those who have no idea how to celebrate their birthday, this site will be helpful http://www.gifti.us

The best way to celebrate a birthday is with family of course. Whatever you decide to do is always better because you will be with your family. Or at least that is how I feel. I always have a better time with my family. We usually just go out to eat on my birthday.

The best way of celebrating birthday is to get the blessings of your elders (relatives) so that they may give some amount when they wish you. With the help of this money, you can do something useful. According to me, spending on a birthday is a way of showing off. Externally, it may appear as good, but really it is spending on somebody for no sake. If you want to spend money for friends, just do that for your close friends (one or two), not for all.

You can cook at your own house, maybe just simple recipes to make. Or buy chips, drinks, and just invite friends for a dvd marathon. Watch dvd, enjoy and celebrate birthday

I spend my birthday celebrating with family and friends. Celebrating with my family is the best not only because they are the ones to spend for it but also becuse there's nothing more special than celebrating it with them. For me and my friends it doesn't matter where we celebrate it or how much I have to spend to treat them. It's the thought that you guys are together, celebrating with what you guys have and can afford and just having fun. You don't need much to have a memorable and happy birthday celebration, celebrating it with the ones special to you is what counts most.

The best way is to celebrate together with your family, especial someones, friends..all that cares for you..It could be found eating together,,although money matters a lot, but the enjoyment and happenings would be a treasure for the rest of your life that you will never forget..

The best way [for me] to celebrate a birthday is if your a boy or girl. If your a girl probably you should spend some time with the gals , go to the spa , bake stuff , talk about cute boys:] , and all kinds of things! If your a boy you should be lying on the couch eating junk food and talking about football with the guys!

speaking of birthday, my birthday is also coming soon..hehehe i know when it is your birthday, you are expected to treat your friends and family. but with a short budget..maybe you can cook meals at home and invite your close friends around. on my part, i will just buy "pansit malabon" shrimp paste noodles, i have a tight budget, so i have to serve them just one meal...snacks. it does not matter if where or what or how you celebrate your birthday. what is imporatant is that you celebrated and enjoyed it with your family and friends... and happy birthday to you!

it'll be my birthday next month. i'm planning to go home or go to my sister's place which is nearer than home. my sister is living in front of the beach and since it's summer, it would be perfect. it's okay if there's no party or whatever, just a small dinner together. but it would be better to have it with the rest of the family.

My last birthday my friends and I went out to dinner and when the bill came they would not let me pay my share. Your friends do not expect you to spend a lot of money on them on your special day. You can celbrate in simple ways that do not require a lot of money. In the states it is often enough just to have a cake and something to drink with a small group of friends and family. This is a practice even for the birthday celebrations for children.
