Are cats better than dogs?

Hey xboxboy how are you? Well see it's like this they are both best. he he .. I love my cats and their independence and I have a love me, pet me, and hold me kitty and my cat knows and lays with me when something is wrong. My dog is awesome because he's always by my side and loving me and he can go out for walks with me and I love playing with him and he too is a very loving puppers. So to me it just depends what meshes with you best.

i hate cats. if you have a cat, your whole house smells like cat piss and cat crap. dogs go outside to go to the bathroom so your house does not smell as bad. i think dogs make me feel safer when i am around them, but cats i feel not as safe. dogs are more warm and cuddely, i feel i can just lay on the couch and lay on my dog and fall a sleep, and as i know i don't think you can do that with a cat. when you get home from school or work dogs are waiting at the door just to greet you and when you come in they jump up and lick you. , i don't think a cat can do that. and i have noticed that most people with cats are people that are geeks or really fat people that have like 30 cats.there is nothing wrong with cats but i hate them and i think dogs are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better then cats. and no flaming me for my opinion.

i prefer cats.they're such personable little guys. i have had dogs,and i do like them,but i would only have one of the bigger dogs,like say a labrador.i'm not into the hyper little yip yaps,they just have too much energy going on for me.

I used to have a cat too but for me dogs are still better. Dogs are much sweeter and dogs can protect the house. Cats are coward and so easy to scare. I am not fond of fishes so I don't think I'm gonna have a goldfish at home. Good day!

I have two little cute dogs and a one big flower horn fish! Well, I love dogs more than cats. But I love animals in general! Happy MyLotting!

I prefer puppies, very faithful and obedient, the kitten has acted like a child very much.

I love all animals, but I prefer to have a cat, I like their independance, they are so much easier to look after and I think they are loyal in their own way, dogs are lovely too but they take a lot of looking after and i think cats are cleaner as well.

i don;t think i would go for a fish.. but sometimes they are cool to watch and play with.. but going for it?. a big No.. hehe.. and i don't think cats are better than dogs.. dogs are really something that could relieve the stress no matter what the conditions is.. cats would just come when they needed something.. dogs dont/.. even when you correct or spank the dog many times, they would come and still lick you and wiggle their tail in missing the owner.. ehhe.. dogs are the best!

I have both of them too and it's really a toss up. Where the cat is pretty quiet, doesn't chew up the leg on the coffee table, isn't as big as one of your funiture pieces; she leaves bombs in the litter box (which can really be a pro for the dog if they clean that out) and sometimes you're in that sound sleep all to be rudely awakened by your cat giving you a wet willie. I don't know. Maybe that's why we have both so we can always have the good side when the bad side is showing.

I like them both but I perfer dogs. I have English Mastiffs. I don't have to worry about cat litter. I just take them outside.

I have had cats and dogs too :-) two black cats...they were very nice..but when I have a dog I went for a walk with my dog Elvis I found a lot of new friends..they caress him and they asked what is his name.. :-) when you had have a dog you know what about I am talking :-) I have never forgotten at him...so I prefer dogs :-) I would like to have a dog once again...

I prefer cats. In my opinion, the cats are more beautiful and intelligent than dogs.
