i was wondering how much money people really spend on there garden from the wood, top soil and plants and seeds, theres a lot of stuff to get to start a garden, but i thing you save money to from growing your own fruits and veggies.

It honestly depends on what you want to plant and how much I meam I go thought over 20$ in seeds alone. I would set aside 100$ for a garden myself. But it all depends on the amount your willing to spend and how big you want your garden to be.

It's easy to spend a lot to get a garden started, but it isn't necessary. If you start a compost pile, you don't have to buy it, if you ask for a few seeds from this garden or that person, you won't have to buy them (nature is generous). You can get plants that are marked down and save there. I have spent about $30 this year and I'm pretty much through, unless I find something else I want to plant. This year, I'm starting rhubarb and Jerusalem artichokes, otherwise it wouldn't have cost nearly as much.

How I started was with a budget. I would first think of how much I have to spend to get sarted and then went from there. Also I saved a ton fo money by looking online and finding wonderful deals on everything , and many places offer free shipping. I do recommend getting a prepaid card , from like a gas staition or something like that , that will let you buy things online saftly w/o any risk to yourself or personal information. I got everything from gloves to rakes, soil and seeds and I had a little left over for a gardening "tool" belt. It will depend on how much and how big you are willing to go and how much you are willing to spend on these things before you can do anything else. I do wish you the best of luck and I hope this is a great adventure for you.
