We have civil rights leader for the African-American population. We have civil rights leader for illegal American population. We have civil rights leaders for gay, lesbian, bisexuals, and transgender (GLBT) Americans. There are laws that have been created to protect the civil liberties of groups like these. Yet these groups much bigger and less persecuted that the worlds smallest minority. The minority group that I am speaking of is attacked everyday, with their civil liberties violated everyday. This minority group even though is the worlds smallest group can be found everywhere doing everything. No their is no month, day or a parade dedicated to these minority. This minority is the individual, population of one.

Yet that minority of one, that individual... is the only one with actual Constitutional and Bill of Rights protection. The Constitution protects the rights of the INDIVIDUAL. It does not say a word about group rights or any such nonsense as that.

Oh you mean the individual population of one who happens to be a Christian, and is probably Anglo=Saxon and male. If the individual is of the mentioned groups, then he or she is left alone. However if the individual is not perceived to be of the persecuted group, then he is at the mercy of other. The constitution of the United States said that all men (humans) are considered equal, but in our post modern society some are more equal then others.

Fortunately, that individual population of one falls into some group. So it is covered by some form of protection somewhere, even though while sitting at home all alone feeling sorry for itself it does not feel that way. That one individual just has to go out and find its minority group and join in so that it is not all alone. Shalom~Adoniah

While this is true, this minority is fluid and able to combine with other individuals to become a strong force and a loud voice. Personally, I'm proud to be a member of this minority because, if I'm nothing else, I'm definitely a unique individual and proud of it.
