Did you ever grabbed an opportunity that came on your way?

Or did you create one? After grabbing the opportunity, did you move ahead with it and achieved something remarkable? How was it? When was it? What do you feel about it.
I was just passing through an office and saw lots of people standing there. It was governmental office, trying to recruit some people for an assignment. I just enquired about it casually, I wrote a resume on the spot, got interviewed and selected as a team leader. I led a team of 15 people to conduct a survey for 6 months in Western Ghats (Hilly regions) of Karnataka and they paid me well. The job gave me life time experience, because the job involved trekking through forests to reach people living in remote areas.

"opportunities knock the door once you should grab it" - this is what iam following and i did it so many times. and its having success sometimes and failure some times.

Success and failures are like bubbles on the water. It is momentary. I am glad you have a decisive mind to grab the opporutnities. It is always important to give attention to the opportunities. By neglecting them, one may not get better opportunities, one may not get it at all.

i would have to say that so far, ive grab any opportunities that comes my way, that's why im living a life with no regrets because i know i always give my self the chance to grow, given the chance^_^

Thats really great:)I did have an opportunities to lead a team few years back which was involved some assignments on factory production lines improvements and I had been selected as one of the top leader who success on assignments. I have to say that we wouldn't be always strike by good oportunities and its rather we create it ourself:)

Opportunities created! We have to tell many people "Don't have opportunities? Create one". that is really a great sentence which I am sure many corporate giants will start using it. Thanks for excellent response. You always do!.
I think you are also having the same problem as me. I just cannot tell the name of the flowers. I have 40 pictures, I have uploaded them. Pics were taken by my brother who is working in United nations University at Mysore.

Wow thats amazing you did really well to land that job it just shows you have to use initiative and it helps to be at the right place at the right time which you were.
Well I would say training to become a counsellor is a big opportunity for me and I am learning and growing through the course and one day I will be able to help people through difficult situations.
