Anyone else spring cleaning?

I wasnt going to, I actually didnt even think about it and then I heard someone say it and thought I might as well do it too. I figure I might as well take some time out today and go thru everything and get rid of whatever is not needed or wanted anymore. There are 6 of us in this house with the dog and the cat so we have a TON of stuff. I am sure we can get rid of some of it.
Anyone else spring cleaning? Anyone already done so? I dont really want to but figure I should. When you are spring cleaning do you go through everything or just do a basic run thru? I am going through everything!!!! Should be fun!!!
Well off to clean today so me and the kids can do whatever we want for the rest of the week.

i am doin' spring cleaning of my bedroom coz i'm gettin' married in 2 weeks so yeah..gotta make space for the husband to be! yikes!
i went through everythin' and OMG i got so much junk!! but i guess its good to do such things coz then you have more space to accumulate more junk!! hehe i think there's no point in doin' a basic go-through coz really..i think that it's a waste fo time coz nothin much is accomplished.

Well congrats for you on the marriage. Im sure all the cleaning will be worth it in 2 weeks. You dont know how much stuff you have till you actually start to go through it.

yeah....only when you go through everythin did you realise that you have SOOOOO much things. but im glad i did and now there's more space and well...i'm hopin' it'll stay clean and neat for as long as possible!! :)

i did my basement the other day. it took a few hours and now you can actually walk around down there! it was hard work but worth it. i only did it cause my husband threatened to go down there and throw things out. that always scares me because he has no clue what i want to keep and what is really trash! not that i keep alot but he is the kind of person who keeps nothing and i like to decorate for holidays and stuff plus i have stuff stored for my kids. i like it to be organized, which it is now.

We has a burst of spring here a few weeks ago and got the family out to rake the yard and pick up all the sticks/branches we lost over winter. I've washed a few walls and went through the kid's clothes to cycle out or to other people I know. So I've started.
We got hit by a big snow storm yesterday - lost power for 15 hours so all the "spring" feeling came to a screeching halt!
I'll get the bug back I'm sure, but I think I'll wait for the snow to melt.

I was off from work last week with the intention of knocking a few items off from my spring cleaning list. But, the weather was so miserable that I just didn't have the motivation to really do much of anything besides the normal cleaning. So, I have decided to refuse to do any of my spring cleaning until it feels atleast a little more like spring outside and they quit using that 4 letter word "snow" in our weather forcasts!

well I clean my house everyday even if it is just here or there... and I want to start my spring cleaning, only the weather isnt really cooperating as it is snowing today...which doesnt give me the idea of spring just yet...so I might do my spring cleaning later in the spring season.....LOL

I keep meaning to get to it but I spend too much time sitting in front of this computer, lol! I did go out and purchase some additional storage bins recently though. I have no choice but to get some organizing done because the clutter just makes me crazy!

we're renovating some of the rooms,and i'm pretty much cleaning as i go along.
100 yr old wallpaper makes a big mess,let me tell you.
ugh it's gross.
2 of 3 of my cats are primarily all black,and that's visible everywhere.
the all black one is a shedder monster.even with brushing.
