Do You Think That Obama Will Serve A 2nd Term?

I'm wondering if Obama will get a 2nd term. What do you think? I did hear on the news that there was to be an attempt on his life, but was found out and stopped, thank God. A man was going to stab him. I don't wish any ill upon Obama or his family, but do worry about the crazy ones out there, who think they've got the right to decide who lives and who dies. What say you?

I don't like the man's politics, but I don't want to see him assassinated. For the sake of this country, and the sanity of everyone in it, I hope he is defeated if and when he runs for a second term. He's just way too dictatorial for my taste.

He said himself, if he doesn't manage to fix the economy he can forget his re-election bid. Of course they'll claim any little success to make it look like he fixed it, lol. But seriously he may not be re-elected (and that indeed is something that may happen based on how increasingly unhappy people have become with him and his throwing money out of the window ways), but I sure hope nobody will kill him. I don't wish that on anybody. I might not like him but he doesn't deserve to be killed.

I am very scared at what Obama is doing to our country. But we are a great and civilized Nation. We have means to remove him that require no violence, just voting. This is what must be done. Assassination is for weak and little people. I hope Obama does not get re-elected. I hope this Nation pays attention and votes for a better candidate. Now it is our job to find that candidate.

I don't know how the fraud got elected in the first place. Maybe it was all of those fake voter's registrations done by his buddies at ACORN. One can only hope that the ignorant Obama voters wake up and don't re-elect him. Zogby Poll 512 Obama Voters 11/13/08-11/15/08 MOE +/- 4.4 points 97.1% High School Graduate or higher, 55% College Graduates Results to 12 simple Multiple Choice Questions 57.4% could NOT correctly say which party controls congress (50/50 shot just by guessing) 81.8% could NOT correctly say Joe Biden quit a previous campaign because of plagiarism (25% chance by guessing) 82.6% could NOT correctly say that Barack Obama won his first election by getting opponents kicked off the ballot (25% chance by guessing) 88.4% could NOT correctly say that Obama said his policies would likely bankrupt the coal industry and make energy rates skyrocket (25% chance by guessing) 56.1% could NOT correctly say Obama started his political career at the home of two former members of the Weather Underground (25% chance by guessing). And yet….. Only 13.7% failed to identify Sarah Palin as the person on which their party spent $150,000 in clothes Only 6.2% failed to identify Palin as the one with a pregnant teenage daughter And 86.9 % thought that Palin said that she could see Russia from her “house,” even though that was Tina Fey who said that!! Only 2.4% got at least 11 correct.

I think it is far too early to predict whether he will serve a 2nd term. He just is getting comfortable in his first. It's nearly 4 years away. Right up until the end, I was doubtful that Bush would serve a 2nd term but he did. As for people trying to take his life & threatening to....that is a sad reality of being president.....there is always that risk. It's actually the sad part of being anybody.

I've always said if it hadn't been for 9/11 Bush would have taken right after his father as a one-term President. However, the attacks DID happen and gave him the fear card to play, which Karl Rove ran with all the way. Annie

I think you are right. If we hadn't been in the midst of such a messy war then Bush probably would not have made the 2nd term.

Whether he serves a 2nd term is not up to the people. It is up to the elite on which players they want to back for president. George Soros and other rich people buy nominations. Andrew Jackson warned people that corporations would put wealth and power at the hands of banks and not the workers, ie, the people. I personally think Obama was groomed by these people. People want to believe they have a voice but that is not really the case. They are only being fooled to believe they have power. The power is still and will continue to be in the hands of corporation, banks, the fed, etc..

Personally I think it is too early to really tell what will happen in his 4 yrs. as President, but it could be a long shot depending on who is running against him to decide if he will want to Run again or have a chance to Win again for sure. I think this will be an interesting next 4 yrs, and I hope we get out of this situation for the better somehow as well. (As for someone wanting to kill him, I am not wishing that either.)

I didn't vote for Obama but I was willing to give him a chance. I honestly feel that if some loony doesn't do him in before he is up for re-election the voters will have had enough and he won't get re-elected.

Yeah! I definately think Obama will get a second term as I believe it is America's Establishment's policy. I believe they have a policy to keep the president in office for two terms for the continuecy of policies. We have not seen many presidents in America's history who stayed in office only once. Also America needs and is trying to improve its image in front of the Muslims. And Obama is the very right person to do that. Thus I believe the establishment will make sure that he stays in office!

I wouldn't want to see him killed either. However, I wish he was never elected. He'll probably serve a second term if he grants amnesty to the illegal aliens. Then again that might just be the last straw. Hopefully the people will get fed up and take our country back before it's too late. Most Americans don't want the illegals here and we especially don't want them to be granted amnesty and collect Social Security.

When president Obama became the next elected president here in the united states i was thinking oh know he is going to be a president that is going to be assassinated this is not going to be a good thing at all. Of course i didn't vote for him at all as i wasn't liking what he was going to do with the money at all. I still feel that he needs to change his mind on to not taxing more to the people that make over 250 thousand a year. That is so many people in this world and it will only be come worse for them. They are the people we all rely on when they give money to charity and what not. When i was younger i was in the hospital constantly and rich people seemed to help out a lot with. So i think taxing them more is not a good idea at all.

red72373 it’s not that we’re not giving Obama a chance – just wondering if he’ll be re-elected in 2012. Give him a chance? – Do you not see and hear what he is and has done already? His approval of the huge spending, and so much of it going overseas, and pushed into 2010. 2011, and 2012. And – you didn’t mind him calling the citizens of the U.S.A. “arrogant” ? That does include you, and all of us here at mylot, that are American citizens. He’s showing our enemies many signs of weakness, and sooner or later, they’re going to react to it. They ARE planning and waiting for just the right time - - and he’s “cutting” our defense budget too, so if and when we are attacked – then what?

I don't think that Obama will complete his first term! I believe that a serious scandal will arise forcing Obama to resign. Unfortunately, if this happens, we will be stuck with an even bigger boob than Obama, Vice President Joe "Hairplugs" Biden!

If I want to say about Obama I will just say I am feeling very disappointing about him. I really have expected about Mr Obama something great and thought he could bring something in this world. But I think everything is just same. About environmental issues American is still silent and their future plan is just as previous days. I do not say that you have to work for the world but I say please do not affect the common people. Please do not kill the innocent people. We did not anything against amareica. We are just innocent. Please forgive us. Please do not kill any innocent people.

I'd say less than 80 days into a Presidency is rather early to start speculating about another term, don't you think? A LOT could happen between now and November 2012, good or bad, and the good could be credited to President Obama whether deserved or not and the bad could be blamed on him, also whether deserved or not. However, if his popularity continues I'd say his chances are pretty good since the latest NY Times/CBS poll shows he has an approval rating of 66% which is pretty good. Annie

Well I have no way of knowing. I know it has been a big topic online for some time now. I want to see what he does this term before I would say if he will have another term. So far it has been okay but I am not sure he will win again. Who knows only time will tell for sure. Take care and happy mylotting to you. Love the avatar too,

I think that you raised a very good question, but i don't believe that now is the best time to try and answer that. Our President has not even been in office six months yet. The mess that he has to clean up will not disappear over night. This country elected him and we should at least give him a chance to do the job. And it's not like we had a terrific president before and he stayed in office for a second term. Let's just be honest with ourselves - racism, inequality, and oppression is still very much alive in that hearts of many americans. So of course there are those ignorant people who will attempt the unthinkable, but I'm about 99% sure President Obama knew that before even going into the election. I believe that our President has us going in the right direction, at least, and I say HOORAH for President Obama!
