this day's nonsense

i got up because i had no other choice. i need to work. sometimes, i envy those who had lots of money. they don't need to worry about making a living. they don't worry about coming to work or not and the consequences of doing so. i had to teach 4 hours this day. so when i had my usual breakfast, coffee and egg tart, i head off to work. on my short walk to school, a stepped into a leveled tile and muddy water splashed on my nice beige slacks. what a great way to start a day. as i arrived into the office, the first task was to try to wipe the mud off my pants. I wasn't that successful. i had to teach anyway. 2 hours had gone by quickly. the weather is totally unpredictable as there seems to be a display of rain, strong sunshine, wind, and clouds. Looking at the thick clouds tonight, i realized, we seem to notice only the bad things that has befallen us. we fail to notice the truth behind the cliche that behind the clouds, the sun is still shining. I vow to try to look at things at a different perspective, focus on the bright side and never lose hope. the sun never ceases to shine....

Self pity kills us more than anything. At least you regained your senses to appreciate the positive things in life.Thank god!A teacher, who can induce good thoughts to the students should keep yourself cheerful. You are on holy seat of creating responsible peoples.Don't feel let down. About the rich people, well they don't stop working. We have to flow always like a river.Remain stagnant and you are finished.Keep flowing.Cheers!

Being positive when so many negatives hit you in the face is nearly impossible. We deal with what confronts us as well as we can. Eventually, the positives come up and we can revel in them, but I don't think we can make those times come purposely. Life hands us what it wants and we cope. How well or ppoorly is up to chance or mood, to a great extent. Hope things look up for you soon.

Oh, nympha687, I want you to stop thinking this way! You are so right that you must not focus on the unfortunate things but on the good things! Be happy you have a job and that you were able to walk. You're just having a sad time but you can turn it around just like you said! Think only about the good things you have and the good things you want, and you will feel better! (You'll still have to get out of bed and go to work, but you can choose to be happy about it or choose to be sad about it!)
