Did you hear about the changes DestroyDebt.com?

There was a note on my account that starting tomorrow, they were taking away the revenue sharing system, and they're lowering the minimum payout. What exactly does this mean? I know the site will still be there so we can get help and help others, but what about the pennies we would be earning?

I'm actually not on the site, but with all the hype I've been hearing today it seems as if they aren't going to pay anyone anymore for posting or whatever, but instead they're leaving the site up in order for it to be a place for people to talk. Also I think they're lowering the payout therefore people who haven't completely reached the mark can still get paid out. Hopefully the amount you've earned it over that pay out - if not I'm sorry.

Yes, I'm over the new payout limit, so that won't be a problem. I was just finding this site interesting because it was being a help on two fronts - getting advice on debt issues and earning a little bit of money along the way.

I don't know much about the site, but i do know a bit about business. It seems the company may be sticking to a budget. Maybe too many people have joined and in order to keep to the budget they had to adjust somethings that way they are still paying the same amount of money to people. Basically, you just got a paycut. lol. Businesses sometimes do that because it's much easier than firing them or completely taking away their money. So...keep this in mind as the site grows and grows. the more people, the less money that will be made individually.

Yes, I know they have to do this, but it's still a bummer when they have the change a good thing because of a few bad seeds.

It is always a few bad seeds who spoil it for the rest. This will not happen here on myLot though because there are many excellent seeds who spend a lot of time reporting the weeds before they grow. There have been discussions about 2 sites changing there terms today because of cheaters and it is disgusting that this is happening. Now we can expect them all back here!

I didn't realize that they were not going to pay anymore. I thought that I would join the site today as I had heard so much about them. I guess if they aren't going to pay, then there is no point in doing the work for them. I had heard that they were a good company and that they were a true paying site. I hope that they will figure something out soon.

It is the users that make a site. If the users cheat the site goes bust - simple!

I am seeing more and more about this site in discussions. How has it worked out for you so far? I think this change is happening on quite a few sites right now.

I did receive my payout today. So I know that they're a paying site. I'll have something to look forward to if they ever are able to start doing that program again.

It's really unfortunate That Destroy Debt is going to stop paying to post. I joined there about a month ago and since then I have read a lot of great advice about earning money, saving money, and budgets. It was also nice to earn some extra money for posting and helping others out there too. The problem is that they just got too many members and most of those new members were spamming up the whole forum just to earn a few cents. It's really unfortunate. Oh well, there isn't much we can do about it now. I do know though that I will continue to post there, maybe not as much, but I will still be using their valuable advice on that site.

I'll definitely keep an eye on this site. I've received many good tips from this site. I think I've helped out a few people to. Maybe the mods at DestroyDebt will change things up so that they can still give people that extra money and throw out the scammers.
