I agree with you completely. Domestic abuse/violence is not something that people should overlook or make excuses for, which is exactly what is happening with some Chris Brown fans. They can't get past his image and see the real person that he is. And, Rihanna is sending such a terrible message to impressionable young girls by going back to him. The FIRST time someone lays a hand on you, the relationship should end because abuse is progressive. Maybe when he half kills her, she'll finally see the light.

I think that you cannot judge anyone else or the decisions they make. If you've never been in that situation, you just don't know. There are plenty of people that have hit someone one time and felt real remorse and apologized and made it up to them and never went back. Everyone makes mistakes. Choosing to forgive and move on takes a really strong person. If I was seriously dating someone or married to someone and they hit me one time, I would probably be able to forgive it. However, if he ever put his hands on me again, I would have to hit the road jack.
