Happy Easter

Well, it is officially Easter Sunday. To the Christians in the world, it is a fabulous day to celebrate. The day that Christ proved to all who didn't believe that he was the Messiah and how wonderful it would have been to see that stone rolled away.
I want to take time out of the day and wish everyone here a Happy Easter. Do you have any special family routines that you do for this day? We always have colored eggs and chocolate bunnies. We try to spend the day with family and we praise God for his love and for giving his life for us!

Happy Easter to you too, although its late, sorry. My family, we go to a mass and have a good lunch and even dinner. We cooked special foods of course now with meat. We also have the privilege to play loud music now because its Easter we should all be happy isn't it?

I am glad that you enjoyed your day. I did too. I only spent a little time with family as I had to work that night so I had to sleep. It was cold though so I didn't mind much.

We used to go out to either a restaurant, or now it would be one of our sons's houses, or we used to have them over, but with my husband being unable to do much because of his bad arthritis, and his not being able to move much, I have no idea. I will be going to church this morning, but they are having dinner at my younger son's house and because my husband cannot move without a walker and has difficulty maneuring stairs, we cannot go.
My younger son's fiance has said that she will bring over a dinner for us, or make something up, but do not know when that will happen. I hope that my older son and daughter-in-law and Katie come over though. I have an Easter Basket prepared. But we do not hope for much, at least not until we have the ramp made and my husband gets his power chair, then they could pick us up.

Happy Easter to you also. We really do not do anything special on this day. We used to color eggs and hide them for the kids but they are all grown up now.

I still have one that I color eggs and hide them for. This should be the last year for that. I will miss it in a way and yet it will make for a less complicated day too.
