Do you take vacation days at the same time every year?

I usually spread mine out with my weekends off and then take a week in the Spring around my birthday. I am just starting my week vacation today. Yeah for me. And of course it is raining and crappy weather. So how do you do your vacations?

Slacker. I could not imagine being on vacation that long. A week is good for me and then back to the same ole....wishing for more time off.

When my daughter was younger and not yet in school we used to take vacations in late Spring and early Fall. This was because most hotels gave great discount rates. For the past two years though we've been taking vacation in the summer since that is the only time we can go. No more discounts for us.

Who knows with the economy the way it is maybe you might get some really good deals this year. They want people to spend so who knows, right?

Well, I only have a part-time job with literally NO benefits, so I probably shouldn't even be responding to this discussion (
). But, no, when I do decide to take a road trip or go on vaca, I'll pretty much go whenever I can afford it && whenever the people I'm going with can get work off.

I know parttimers get jipped on the vaca days and other things. I think it's wrong.
