celebrities going bad in BORA?

Every year, many celebrities like to spend their summer in BORACAY, if you have watched the local news this weekend, you will notice that a lot of celebrities popular or not had in one way or the other got involved into fights with the locals of the place. Beauty queen in a hair pulling incident with a bar owner, or a male model grabbing the gun of a security guard, and lately two members of popular(?) singing and dance group.Do you think it's the "celebrity status" or they just going "bad"?

Maybe celebrities getting involved in some fights in Boracay are those who want to be seen and heard and be noticed. Or maybe they are abusing their "popularity" thinking that they can get away with any trouble they engage in since they are "known" and can be forgiven anytime. Good thing that the ordinary people who get victimized by these celebrities are brave enough to report the incident to authorities, making these celbrities face the consequences of their actions.

You are correct, not every people got star-strucked by these so-called celebrities, and get-away with every trouble they commit, this should teach them a lesson..

I could say, that some did that on purpose for publicity and some maybe were not able to control their temper. Well, the media also elaborate things when celebrities are involved.

I think that is the price to pay for making a good and pristine place being offered commercially. Now that Boracay is now very well known to everybody I think there is a big possibility that trouble might happen in that place because it is becoming overcrowded and the demand to cater to its visitors might not be delivered properly because of the influx of people there. Of course there is this celebrity getting into trouble well that is pretty obvious that they will be highlighted because of their status but in reality I guess this happens even in non-celebrity people there. The only difference is that it is not highlighted in news.

Yes I guessed so, so being a celebrity they must be discreet in anything they will do, to avoid being in the news and protect their celebrity status.. thank you for dropping by!

Hello iamcapricorn, good day to you. You are right that almost every year a great number of Filipino go in Boracay, because with this place you can enjoy the summer where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful views of this place, then you can increase your ability to communicate social life because in this place you can earn friends. Not only standard people are always there in this place but also some CELEBRITIES, which by spending in a particular place, the place became more popular in other people. Well, regarding to the point of topic in this discussion, i also saw some news that includes the celebrities who are making trouble with that particular place because everyday i watch news in our television. Well, in my own opinion with this matter, i think the celebrity status is not just doing bad with that place because it's only an accident and i think they didn't do it to be more popular and just using their popularity in order for their name to be in news. The reason why i can just say this is because i believe that not all celebrities are wise to be popular in public. Well, if i will have a good amount of money, i think i will just also spend my vacation in Boracay too just like a celebrities because i know i can be relaxed in that place together with my family, hehe...lol well, i think it will only be happen in my dreams for the reason i do not have a good kind of job and i'm still studying in college but if ever i will be graduated in my course and having a good job, i'm sure i will go in that beautiful place of Boracay. That's all my response to your interesting discussion. Happy posting and happy earning to all of us. Good day and God bless!

Maybe it's the "celebrity status". They might thought that they are popular enough not to be in trouble. Yet other people won't be scared of their popularity and still fight for their right.

I do think the celebrity status has something to do with it quite a little. But it's more of people not knowing know how to handle their status and who forgot the priceless value of respect and humility. If they are not celebrities, I don't think some of them would have the guts to do what they did. In a way, their status went to their head that they forgot how to be more respectful and humble. If we just analyze the reports, it is very clear that those things are actually issues of respect and humility. Why should that male model took away a guard's gone and run? They are making fun of the guard or he and his friend don't just respect the type of job the man has? Why did those dancers/singers turned their i Pod's to such volume? Don't they have earphones? Haven't they had the sense to notice the surroundings and be respectful to what it is? What do they think of themselves that hey think they have the right to disturb the peacefulness of a place in a so called "Holy Week"? Worst, what made them think that only the owners have the right to question their disrespect? And gosh! The man is much older than them, don't they know how to respect someone older than them? And why is the gayness of the man came out in the issue? I don't think the celebrities should take all the cudgels on those incidents. The celebrities and their enemies should have shown even just a low level of humility (this, I think, does not apply to the guard though). If anyone of them should have backed out, then those incidents could have been avoided. But it is evident from the interviews that almost all of them thought nothing but asserting their rights. What's wrong giving up a right if it can harness peace and give happiness to others? In the very first place, giving up the so called rights they are fighting for will not even cost them money nor earn them accolades.
