Simon Cowel will leaves American Idol

I don't think so...right? Can't wait for Ellen to make an appearance on American Idol. I wonder how it's going to be like with Simon around and Ellen too, LOL.

Well since I don't think the show is going to survive with Paula Abdul gone this will definitely kill it for sure without Simon on. This is just my opinion. Out of all the judges in my opinion they could have did away with Randy and Kara - I like them both but they don't bring anything to the show for me. Simon and Paula its different maybe its the chemistry between them. Well this is for sure the beginning of the end of AMERICAN IDOL.

part of the drama is hearing simon bash other contestants whether it is good or bad in our ears... but the act is getting too old, 8 seasons and he is probably running out of poor played analogies and honestly,i don't think he has that standard anymore... i'm not sure... but honestly, if AI will lose him, that's gonna hurt... and a replacement, uhm, is not really acceptable, but hey if quentin tarantino volunteers, i might consider it a very good idea hehehehe

I hope this is just another rumor. Some also says that Paula will leave the show before but she is still there until now. American Idol won't be the same without the original judges especially Simon. I think everyone listens to his opinions whether they admit it or not.

Yep. I heard about this, but I really think he won't. I mean...he can't. It's almost as though there isn't an American Idol with Simon Cowell. Hehe. I think the other 3 judges are also busy with other things (perhaps not as busy as Simon) and I think Simon just can't leave Idol like that. I don't think he really will. And if ever, Idol might just end if he does leave. Hehe :)

I read this this morning and have to say this is in the news at least once a month. I'm a big Idol fan but if Simon left it would be no great loss!

i dont think he will leave idol for that is where he started and where he became more popular. i also think that the judges has contract and as far as the news goes only paula didnt renue the contract. i think he must be more happy that he is busy the more projects the merrier. i also think that if americal idol lets him go it will a big loss. he is one of the reason why people watch it.

I don't see him doing it. He created the show, everyone knows him for American Idol...it just wouldn't work without him for very long. He is the only judge that has no problem saying exactly what he thinks and giving the Idols any advice that he has. Paula is always nice, and I have yet to hear her say anything that would hurt someone's feelings. The worst singer in the world would get praise from her, so her comments are almost always ignored.

I just read about it on yahoo actually and found it quite surprising. In a way I feel that if he leaves the show is slowly going to turn into nothing. They are changing the format too much and way too quickly for the show to have that feel it use to. But in a sense I doubt he will. Just by saying he might leave and not making it completely official it is going to get a ton of press for the show. And we all know that nowadays its all about the ratings.
