money making online scam

I wish to ask some of you if you ever had an experienced scam over the Internet in search for making extra money from it? I know a friend who had, it is the money transfer over paypal to man to money transfer land base scam. At first, all you need to have is a paypal and upon doing their instructions, you will get a portion of the amount. The catch is...they will then withdraw the money and declared as a payment that is canceled. Paypal seems unaware of the scam and will do its best to get back the money. My friend was so scared, lucky that she didn't put his/her real name and address there. How about you, have you had such? How did you dealt with it?

That is why I always advocate investigating before you put a dime into anything. I am glad your friend was smart enough to avoid getting scammed. Next time tell her to delete it or report it to the FDIC http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx. (Not an affiliate link)

I did this one survey site that made it look like I had $10 worth in points. Then when I went to cash out had to have a minimum of $20 and their was no way to earn any more points. So I wasted my time.

Well I wouldnt say that Iv experienced or been scammed completely but I have been a victim of misleading adds and sites before, meaning sites that exgagerate what they can do and what kind of results they can give you, but thankfully there were no serous consequences from those experience's, and now I try to be a bit more careful of what site or program I join because you just never know, and I'm very careful of sites that ask for infomation that is to personal.

There are many types of scams out there. Just be aware and take care. Do some research to make sure that something is legit before you do commit. I was offered a large amount of money once. I investigated it before committing. I found that the offer was a type of scam. I didn't respond to the offer. It was a stranger saying they wanted to give money to some one who really needed. It was a nice dream and the offer would pay off the house but the end result was that there was different versions of the scam. The idea was the same. Some one passing away who had a large amount of money. The person who held the money was dying and didn't have any one to pass on the money too. These days, I look for legit offers now.
