Wouldn't life be so much nicer if people drove slower?

I think it would make a huge difference to the quality of our lives if people drove slower. Going fast on the big motorways is fair enough, but on all the other roads, life could be improved so much if cars were slower. Imagine how much less stressful life would be. I know people are always in a hurry to get somewhere, but that can be resolved by starting out earlier.

Well, you have a point there. If people would be driving slow there is a less tendency of encountering accidents. If ever there would be, most likely it would be less fatal considering that the impact would be slow. The thing is we are always in a hurry nowadays. Though you said it right, this can be solved by starting out early.

I know that in places where they have drastically reduced the speed limit, the number of accidents has dropped by an incredible amount.

You are so right. It is no longer a pleasure for me to drive my car. On the autobahns there is no speed limit here and there are so many crazy people driving fast cars. I can be doing 70 or 80 miles an hour overtaking a slower vehicle and they come to within 6 feet of my back bumber flashing there lights to tell me to get a move on!

Oh, that would really scare me. I'm just not a fast driver.
