I am using Mozilla Firefox as my default browser.Over a period of three months the list of URLs in the address bar has become unmanagebly long.I tried to empty the list to get rid of this nuisance. But I did not succeed from Internet option. Please, guide me how to do it.Thanks.

To Clear the history in Firefox,Go to Tools- Clear Private Data. If you just want to remove the URLs from the address bar, select Browsing History and Uncheck all other options (like Cookies, Authenticated Sessions etc). This will keep the save passwords etc. For the future, you can set the number of days you want to keep the browsing history. To set that, go to Tools -Options. By default, Firefox keeps the history for 90 days. You might select less number of days. You can uncheck the option as well. If you uncheck "Keep my history for at least", URLs will not be saved in the history at all. Hope this will help you...

I used to have the same problem but now i have changed the setting. You can go to TOOLS and then OPTIONS and then the various settings like, keep history for...and also delete history, cookies, downloaded stuffs. Try and let me know.

I use CCleaner which deletes that, plus a lot of other junk that clutters up your computer.
