We were told that we should not sleep when our hair is wet. Is it true? What is the reason? Is there a scientific explanation for this? On my experience, when I just finished taking a bath and I lay down on my bed, the tendency is for me to get sleepy. There were several times that I got slept. I think the effect will be a headache when you wake up. What are your thoughts about this?

Oh yes, it will just have a negative effect, so we really need to avoid it. I only do that very seldom. Thanks for your response! Happy myLotting!

There is also times that i slept with wet hair. Sometimes i cannot feel the bad effect of sleeping with wet hair but there also a time that i really feel the headache. My mom told me that it can also caused blurred eyes and also increase the tendency of having a white hair in young age. I don't know the scientific explanation about this but i think those side effects really happened.

My mum and my grandma told me so. If I am sleeping with a wet hair, they will try to wake me up.

Never heard that one. I heard the tale that people catch colds from going outside with wet hair. This is false.
