India

Hi everyone. So the "manoranjan ka baap" is kicking off from today. We all enjoyed the First IPL season and though it is not in India, the second season promises to be bigger and better. A few changes have been made in the rules like rethink point, where the fielding team can take a few minutes off to make strategies or rethink their plan in the middle of the innings, i.e, after 10 overs. A few new players have been added like Kevin Peterson, Andrew Flintoff and J P Dumminy. A few captains have been changed...Rahul Dravid Has left the place for KP, Laxman for Gilchrist and GAnguly will make way for Mcculum. All this and much more. Bollywood is surely going to be involved big time. But the real Question is whom do you support and whom do you think will win? I think last times runners up "Chennai Super King" and "Bangalore Royal Challengers" Have the best chance.

To tell you the truth it is going to be very difficult to predict who will win because this format is so unpredictable. One cannot really say who the ultimate champ will be firstly because it is in totally new conditions, ie S Africa where thepitches are different from those in India and secondly the weather conditions are not the same. Moreover as new and better foreign cricketeers are in the teams one will not know for a certainty who will win.Whatever it is its going to be one big tamasha and all we have to do is sit back and enjoy it without any tension. Of course since we belong to different cities and states we will no doubt support our own franchises but it won`t matter much since all our fav players are spread in all the different teams. So just sit back and enjoy.

My loyalty is a bit divided too. I am not from any of those eight cities and hence there is nothing like being native to me about those franchises. I'll support my favorite players and enjoy.

That is a kind of win win situation for me dear. If the batsmen score runs...I'll say he's my favorite and if the bowler has the upper hand, he is my favorite anyway.

you can predict better if two teams are playing. it is difficult by any standard to predict the winner in ipl etc. many factors will determine the winner!!

In that case, what do you think is the biggest factor that can affect a team's performance?

It is difficult to say who will win this season unless we see how each team plays. Only time will tell.

But still there must be someone that you either think will win or you want them to win.

That is kind of strange. You are very much native to CSK, your best player in from MI and so you are supporting them and you thing that DD will win! Which color are you actually wearing?

I don't know who has great chance of winning this IPL but I think it is going to be tougher than previous to predict. I think even though it is not very much action packed as it was last year but it will a great test for both bowlers and batsmen. Well as far as today's end is concerned it would be one of the following three teams 1 - Mumbai Indians 2 - Deccan Chargers Hyderabad 3 - Delhi Daredevils Still difficult to predict....

I must say all these three teams are looking in good shape and having won their first match, all of them will be rearing to go for more.

I do not know what IPL is. I assume it has something to do with a type of sport but I can not think of anything that starts with the letter "P."

Yes, dear th emother of all Manoranjan is kicking off and so its going to be a good entertainment show from today. As far as chances of winning are concerned, I think that it is too early to comment on the same. I think we should all wait and watch for the winners and meanwhile enjoy all the sport.

Enjoying the games is one thing we will surely do... it is just the thing that there will be a winner as it is a competition and hence there may be some speculations about the winners.

Hello Raj, this time it is quite difficult to make prediction. Yesterday there was unexpected debacle and what is in store that time would tell. And as for me I am a supported of the Kolkata Knight Riders and wish they win. Lets see what happens.

Nothing could be said as such definite in T 20, but, Mumbai Indians has the best chance to win this edition of IPL. They have all the ingredients which are needed to charge with full force. And then, with Sachin in sublime form, no one can underrate them.

You have a point when you say Mumbai Indians but I just feel that they are going to broke somewhere in the middle of the tournament. I don't have anything to back this saying my mine but I am having a strong intuition of this thing happening.
