If Mozart was alive, where do you think he will reside?

It struck me when I woke up this morning. I can't get it out of my system until this afternoon. I need MyLot friends to express and opinion on this. Are you a Mozart lover? Écoutez-moi!

With the ever increasingly maddening city noise, he may head to Nepal mountains, where he can hear his organ composition well. I got a go at it this morning what a trance Chopin, Johann Brahms will do the same

I really like Mozart, in special his operas. In Austria, i am sure that he reside there. But in my opinion, great compozer, great artist who live long time ago..if they live now here in modern time, they are not famous. One of the qualityes of this great artists was that they live in the past there...now, in this time they can t develop theirs talent i am sure. All depend of time, circumstances, places...all make this man great.

You have a point there, but Mozart was a very modern young man and quite radical with his compositions. You can hear his beat on some jazz music. Paul McArtney, the Beatles listened to his compositions. So I think he would have survived the modern world. Thank you for your response.

In the spirit of making amends for the previous encounter, please accept my inputs on this one..... I do enjoy Mozart's compositions, yes. But I've never embraced it to the point of becoming well versed with all of his works. Given that so few of his compositions were published in his lifetime, I think that if he were still alive today, he wouldn't have ventured far from Austria. He'd probably base himself there and then flit around Europe doing his best to gain more recognition for his talent. It would have been interesting to have seen how the modern world may have influenced his music!

Yes you have point there. It's good he stayed in Europe. Mozart was too modern during his time, I am sure he would have enjoyed playing jazz & rapping perhaps? Thank you for responding.

Well, I've been to Salzburg a couple of time and with the Mozart-craze going on there I think he would avoid it, else he'd never have a quiet moment. Vienna's better, bigger city etc. For peace and quiet I'd suggest an Austrian "Alm", one of the lowest noise levels that has been measured was in the cellar of a house somewhere up in the Austrian alps.
