Have you heard of the new prince of tennis? This was the continuation of the national tournament. Ryoma beats the captain of their rikkadai and goes to amerika. And on this new series of POT, he comes back and they are still high schoolers. A lot of their pass opponents were still present. I think this new POT will now have a story that centers about international matches.

Yup! hehe... It's really interesting... Unlike other schools, we do not really have any exposures to tennis, (schools usually focus on badminton, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, etc) Thanks to POT, I have had enough, at least, the basic information about tennis... ^_^ Sometimes, animes could be of a very good use hahaha...*** Information dissemination. hahahha

Yeah you're right. You can also learn some insane science from them like when you read Air gear. Hahaha...

I stopped Prince of Tennis at around 100+ episodes when he was going for the inter high. I'm not even sure which is the last episode for season 1. National tournament is the 2nd season right?

I'm not familiar with different season of prince of tennis because I turn to manga during the times I can't find any available latest episodes of POT. The first series finished the national tournament and this new one coming I think will feature world tournaments.

Shintenipuri is rather crazy and random in my opinion (like survivor x extreme sports!), but I still watch it for my favourite characters and teams, plus the U-17 camp kind of reminds me of the Senbatsu arc in the first series, which I adored even though it was not in the manga, I just like it when all the teams come together instead of it always featuring Seigaku. And fyi, so far the matches are not international, rather they're competing against older students.

I've seen the New episodes few months ago but I haven't finished watching yet. POT is one of my favorite Anime and I really love Ryoma. I'd get back watching the series if I got time. I'm working everyday so I can't have access in the net when I'm at home. I think I have to buy a DVD player and look for a DVD of it nearby. I really miss Seigaku.

I read it and I kinda like the first season better. Although I know there were bound to be strong high school players but seeing the ending of the prince of tennis I do not see the point of the sequel/season whatever u call it!! Although i also love ryoma!

Just to clarify, these guys are not high schoolers. They are middle school students ranging from the 7th grade to 9th grade. Anyways, I've read a few chapters of the new Prince of Tennis manga and it pretty much picks up where the series left off. This time, a majority of the middle schoolers from the various teams are participating in a youth-17 group thing. And it does look like the chosen people will be participating in international matches and everything. I'm really excited to see how well the guys will be going against strong high school opponents.
