Listening to your child everytime..is this how we become a great mom?

Well I am just figuring out if a great mom is supposed to listen to whatever her child says to her or tells her. My mom was talking to me and I said " Oh you don't know anything about that, just listen my point of view" and now I am realising that infact she is right. She is more experience and she is my mom after all. What should a great mom have to become a great one?

Parents who want their children's respect, must first respect their children. Children are small adults, and must be treated as such by the parents. If your Mother wants to become a "Great Mom," she should listen when you speak. After you are finished she can have her Say. She has more experience, but she should listen first and then speak. After all, the child will be the person who chooses the nursing Home for her Mother.
