It takes me 2 days to wash, fold, hang and put away all of our laundry, of course I do other things in between, I have a family of 5. How long does it take you to do all of yours? For how many people?

I have a family of 5 as well, including 2 very spoiled dogs that get treated almost like humans. They have their own little beds with sheets, blankets, pillows and even little outfits. So needless to say laundry is an everyday job for me. It take usually 2 loads a night, plus fold, iron, hang etc. My kids also like to change cloths about every 1 hour!! Most the time I believe that I am washing cloths that aren't even really dirty but they didn't put them away where they should be!

There are 4 people in my family. I do it in one day. My kids spend most of the time in their swimsuits, so do I and I wear shorts and shirts and sandals. My wife wears scrubs 3 days a week so its not too much to get it all done in one day.

I feel like I am constantly doing laundry! I do one or two loads per day. One of the reasons we have so many clothes, is that my son has to wear a uniform to school. So, he changes when he gets home. It gives me double the laundry! I also have to wash my other sons work uniform constantly! I could do it all on one day, but that drives me crazy. So, I just do one or two loads a day.

Hi, ladym33! That takes too long. I have a family of 4. I do hand washing for an hour. I hang it for 15 minutes. I wash everyday so that it won't get heavy. This kind of habit spend more water but less effort so I can do other things freely. Enjoy posting...=)

As I use washing machine, it takes me only 40 minutes to wash 5 kilos of clothes. There're only my partner and me in the household, so we don't have many tasks, just 4kg of dirty clothes per week for each one. I only choose to run the machine in sunny days, sothat the clothes get dry faster, just in 4h. We have also tumble fryer, but don't use reglularly because it's too violent for wool. The hardest thing may be ironing. However, my partner is very kind. He helps me to fold the stuff while I'm ironing, and we finish this in 30'. When I have an extra hand like this, all are well done.

Hi ladym...I used to try to get all the laundry done in the course of one day. However it's really too much for me between all the bedding, towels, and clothes. So I'm learning to not be such a perfectionist and take a little more time to get everything done. Now if I don't get all the laundry done over the weekend, I just stretch it out during the week. I'm much less stressed this way.
