Is it soo difficult to be a christian??????

Jesus said his yoke is easy and his burden is light. The words of God is wonderful and if we apply it in our daily lives we will see that our lives will be perfect. Didn't Jesus show us the way of being a soldier in this world. No my friend Christianity is not difficulty but if we don't wait on God's time then will we finds it this way. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. —Galatians 5:22-23 Apply these in your life and you will see how easy it is.

You should have a quality devotional time every morning , asking the Holy Spirit to fill you always with his presence , strength and power. Have time reading the Bible and live in his word. You should practice what you are reading. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. You must let the Holy Spirit reign in your life.

Being a Christian does not mean you have to follow their rules or something. It means that you have accepted Christ as your Savior and you have faith in Him. We are only humans who are not perfect. We often make mistakes in our daily lives. However, if we have Christ in our hearts, being a Christian won't be very difficult.

Yes it is. I won't deny it because the very essence of being a Christian is being a true follower of Christ. Meaning we believe in Him and His ways to be the true path that we should take as God would want us to do. Being a true Christian = sacrifice, to love without equation and condition, forgiveness, honor God above all, empathy and serve him by serving your neighbors regardless of race, origin and faith. Being a true christian is hard and so far only a few were able to follow his ways, (Sis. Mother Theresa is one in my opinion). But look at it this way, I believe it is also not easy for Jesus himself. Let us not forget that His days has it's own share of "barbaric-ness" and He was subjected to this. Yet He did not let this stop Him for doing what He think is right and He was killed for these teachings and demonstrations. I think the main fault of man (me included) is Greed from which all the other sins stem from and this is what Christ was teaching against. So I guess regardless of whether you are a Christian or not, following His teaching is the only true way that would make this world a better place. So my answer to your question, It is hard and I can't live my life completely sinless. Yet God knows I try to be better. Let me share a quote from a neighbor of mine which i feel is a good place to start changing one's way. He is earning a lot yet his cabinet is not as full of clothes as you would think. When asked he remarked..."WHY? How many days are there in a week? How many clothes do you need to wear in 7 days?" Hmmm....

I think its only hard to live a christian life if one is not close and intimate with God. I believe if you put God first in every aspect of your life and follow his commandments and obey his word then it's not so difficult because you are not living your life on your own but you are allowing God to live in you to have an abundant and succesful life. The main reason christians find it hard to live the christian way is because they do not know God. It is vital that you know God not just about him but know him personally. That way when you discover that indeed he is the same yesterday, today and forever, that nothing is impossible with him and when you know his ways (not yours) and trust him and commit to him the Christian life is not as difficult as it is potrayed...

god can change anything ,Only you can change your fate by yourself

I can agree that it can be dificult to be a Christian, and the devil will make sur it does not get easier for he is the one who tempt us and want us to believe it is too dificult to be a Christian. If we decide to die in ourselves and let Christ reign in our hearts, we will find it easier to resist temtation. if we always seek God's way in everything, and I know it is not easy because we must constantly decide to do so, we will make the Christian walk easier for ourselves. We should also always find ways to keep us busy with the gospel, in some way or another, so our focus will be shifted from tempting desires. Christian books, music, friends, and all that will scare the devil back to his pit, are helpfull instruments that God gave us to keep our thoughts on Him. Also sharing the Gospel through our daily living helps us to walk the straight and narrow. Remember that people want to see Christianity in us, not just hear about it from us. Blessings

Yes it is difficult to live as a christian. For the christian life is a life of faith. As it is written the righteous will live by faith. Each day of his life a christian is confronted with a decision whether to trust God and obey Him or follow the desires of the carnal flesh. Each day of his life a christian should make a decision to commit his life to the Lord and wait upon His provision. Sometimes it is very difficult to wait upon the Lord for it requires great faith. But a christian has no better alternative than trusting God and committing everything in His hands.

being a christan means a lot but at the same time it dosent mean alot. because you dont have to walk around with a bbible preaching it. but the "godly life style" really isnt that hard to follow. it really just the basic laws of life. "no sin is to great god will always love you"

For me YES it is really hard to be a real christian. Because there are many temptations everywhere. But you can be a real Christian with the Help of GOD. in the bible says "seek first the Kingdom of GOD and all other things will be added unto you". So you can be a christian not by instant but by Glory to glory. You can resist temptation by always remembering the word of GOD and pray always.

It's really hard to be a christian.According to christianity,christians should follow the path of christ.Now a days we see many people interpreting the bible verses on their own.No man is perfect either.So as far as am concerned, being a christian holds on accepting christ as the saviour.Also be god,do good and think good.Serve the poor and save the mankind.

For those like myself, who have not been a Christian their whole lives, sometimes it is hard, because sometimes we want to go back to old ways and fill those 'simple' pleasures. However, with daily prayer (and throughout the day), daily reading of His Word, and constantly submitting my will to His, I can overcome any temptation. Also, accountability really helps too.
