So my baby girl is 12 days old and i took her out yesterday to the park, i was so nervous though afraid that it was too soon to take her out, but the weather was so nice i thought it would be ok, that is until this lady came up to me and started telling me "cover her head really good" dont let her hat come off (even though her hat in any moment came off" but she freaked me out so much i thought i was gonna have a sick baby by the time i came back! lol anyways, when did you take your baby out for the first time?

Hi Clau, I have a little boy he is turning 2 this coming June 4, I remember I took him outside everyday at 6am for a sunshine because my pedia told us so his color won't be yellow. But I took my baby for the first time in the mall when he was 6 months old.

Yeah I took my baby girl only to the park, I will, just like you, wait a whole lit before I take her to any place that's crowded. But the park is definetly a place that I'll keep taking her, well, when these rainy days are finished and we get those sunny days again:)

I do not have kids but I can tell you about the people I know. My sister stopped at Wal Mart with her baby on the way home from the hospital. Honestly I was glad she was in another state because to me this was way to soon. I have also known people who do not take their children anywhere but to family's houses, until they are around 1.

oh wow that is too soon! lol! when you say 1 i imagine you mean 1 month, jeje. My husband was the one who said to go out with her, i wouldnt take her out for a whole while more, but it was not for long and the weather was good.

My first born was about 6 days old we walked to the shops I was going crazy at home regretted it though i was soooo not ready for the walk there! My second child she was about 10 days old and that was much better i went when i was ready going out does not do a newborn any harm.
