National Guard on Alert for Tea Party - Does this not distrub anyone else?

This disturbs me. I mean I think this would be on a state level, involving police - not the millitary.
What do you think?

The National Guard is on the state level. We have the Arkansas National Guard and of course there is the Maryland National Guard. When we have a need the governor can call the National Guard into service in our state. State units can also be called into service on a national level. In this case it does not seem that they were called out to police the tea party events, but simply put on alert should the tea party get out of hand.
It does not distrub me. Someone was just being overly cauteous.
