Yeah I choose online classes so I could stay at home with my 2 kids.I have about 6 years of school planned out to be where I want to be so.... But I am very excited about it. I did get student loans and such but I get an overage check that I will use to help payback some of them if that makes any since to you lol lol. but the extar money will help alot on catching up on bills and such and with the degrees I plan on getting I should not have no problem paying the loans back later on. If your thinking about hun I would do it for sure since you stay at home and such I think its a great Ideal for stay at home mom's to go to school. I choose an online school that I done a lot of research on called Herzing its a great school with great support. Good luck and happy mylotting!

I hope you find the courage to do so it is a wise choice! I am a strong believer in higher education. Though sometimes it is hard to attain, I wish it were not that way but it is. In France college educations are paid for by the government. Which I think is a great ideal. Happy Mylotting!

With the way the world is today they leave us no choice than to get further education. Which in the long run will make us use more of our brains I mean the average person only uses 10% of their. I am all for me being more intelligent.

Congratulations! Hope you do well. Right now after anger, tears, and frustration about being separated my go is to get a car (hopefully from my son), get a drivers license and a job so that I can save some money and get my own place. I have decided that the best thing for me is to be independent for a while here. Then I'd like to move back to Houston and be on my own there. I am hoping and praying that things will fall in place in the next few months so that I can show everyone that I can have a life of my own.

Congratulations on making a great decision. I was a policeman for thirteen years and then left to go full time study. I went for theology because I know it is my calling. I was a four year course but due to health, I am still busy, with my last year, eventualy. I started to study at the age of 33y and am now turning 38y. It is sometimes dificult to run class with 18 year olds but it is fun and exciting. Best of luck for your studies, may it be the best years of your life. Blessings

Oh wow! congratulations! Going to get some education is definitely not too late for anyone. I havent done that kind of decision yet but I think I will because I have so many things that I want to do, to learn and to become that I dont think there will be enough time for me to do all those things. Computer Science huh? Ive also learned only recently how much I love tinkering with computers. Not the hardware stuff but more on programming and making websites come to life. Im also going to be a senior this June so shifting to another course would be quite unadvisable. I also like the course that Im in which is a business related course and I know that this field is a never ending study. I mean in order to survive constant study about the changing times and trends is mandatory. A friend of mine recommended that I shouldve taken Information Technology since its a mix of computer science and business. Too late for that so I guess Im just gonna have to learn about computers as I go along my career path. Planning to take differen shourt courses in the future.^_^ Goodluck and have fun in your new college life. Dont forget to take breaks sometimes. Play hard but study hard as well.

Good luck in college, age should not be a barrier to study. I am around 1 year younger than you are and I want to return to studying at some stage soon. I majored in Business Administration 10 years ago, only to work as a refuse loader. Being unemployed at the moment made me think that now is the time for change.

After holding my breath.......... Hello friend, yes I made the same decision over four years ago to go back to school to try to better myself. By that time I had already had a family so it wasn't the easiest thing to do and all of us had to make a few adjustments. I got through it though and even though I'm still not sure it's the best choice for me. At least it's something that I will always have that I can fall back on in case I should need to. Congratulations on making your decision. I think it's one of the best things that a person can do for their self.....Study hard and pay close attention in class, it's not as easy to do it as an adult but many have done it b4 you so be encouraged!..... Take care and good luck!
