My natural hair color is black. I used to think all caucasians have brown and golden hair when I was little and I realized it is not necessary true. Do you know what race + what race will come out what hair color kid? I'm Asian have black hair and my hubby is white, he has brown hair, what color will come out?

My hair is naturally "Mediterranean Brown". Which is that dark brown that looks black until the sun hits it. :) However, I was born with Strawberry Blonde Hair (red). Then it lightened to white blonde. Then darkened. I keep it in the red family now. Some colours of hair, much like eye colour, are dominate. Such as dark hair dominate over light coloured hair.

Nah. Barbie has Ash Blonde hair. Strawberry Blonde is the lightest shade of red. It was cute. Made my eyes look HUGE and blue. LOL

But dying hair hurts the hair very badly... I have done that before and it killed lots of my hair.

hi yeah i do agree with you that hair dyes are usually harmful to the hair and they do more damage than good to the hair in long run.

Hello mermaidivy, I have thick, black hair and my hubby has dark brown hair. He used to have blonde hair when he was young and it turned to dark brown when he gets older. My son has dark brown hair too but it is darker than his daddy. From afar, his hair looks more like mine but when you look at it clearly, it is not as black as mine.

Dear friend, In my case I am from India and my colour is black a typical Indian hair. But as per our herditary I do have lots of hair. But I do the colour do not always depends on herditary it could also change according to one's nature of life, like medicinal reactions, other factors change in environments, climate etc. I am sure what colour of hair would my kid would have.

I am of German ancestry and my natural hair color is dark brown. Both my parents had the same hair color as me. My husband's dad is Vietnamese and has black hair and his mom had blond/red hair. My husband has dark brown, almost black, hair with red pieces throughout. The color of hair all depends on Genetics. Whatever gene(s) get expressed will be the color of the hair of the child. I think hair color can be hard to predict but you probably would be looking at a child that had brown to black hair, assuming another color does not run in your or your husbands family.

I am Latin and have dark brown hair. My dad is half Indian and has super midnight black hair. My mom is Latin too and has dark brown hair. But she had family from Mexico who are originally from Spain and they are all blonde with blue eyes. We are all bits and parts of different races so it's hard to tell what color our hair will be.

I am Caucasian and my natural hair color is dark chestnut. It's darker than blond, but lighter than brown. It's in between. And that's my natural hair color. However, about two years ago, I changed it to brown, with a bit of red highlights in it.

I don't think that you will know untill a baby is born. For instance. My father has blond hair and my mom has brown hair. I was born with blond hair, my brother brown/blond and my sister is a red head. My father's mother had red hair. I think it really goes down the family line there. There are genes that carry over a generation sometimes.

I don't think you can determine it, because it has a lot to do with your ancestry; it goes past just the mom & dads hair colors. For example, my mom has naturally brown hair, and my dad has naturally black hair (or really really dark brown, I was never really sure). And my sister was born a sandy blonde! But I found out later it was because the grampa on my mom's side had blonde hair. So, it's weird and hard to determine. I know plenty of other white people who have a variety of natural hair-colors: brown, red, blonde, bleach-blonde, black, dark dark brown, etc. It's kind of weird how many different hair colors white people can have. lol.

That's interesting. So it doesn't only depend on the parents but paarents's parents and so on too... I guess.

My natural hair color is black. And both my parents have black color hair,so I don't have the idea of the other options. But when I read genetics, there was this chapter on the probabity of a characteristic in the offspring from the parents, where I read that if the parents have different colored hair like you two have, the offspring could have any of your colors or can have albino colored hair. Happy mylotting..
