Are These Ads Sexist?

There's an ad on television for a popular stain remover for your laundry. In the commercials a man is teaching a class of women about how to use the stain remover. In another set of commercials, the same man is teaching women how to use a color-safe bleach. I recognize that women do laundry for the family more often than men do, but there must be some men out there who also get stains on their clothing and don't have a wife to clean it up for them. But if we are led to believe by this commercial that only women need to learn how to do laundry, then why is a man teaching them? Either the man represents a superior knowledge or an authority figure, or men really know a lot more about laundry than they are letting on. Maybe women just wouldn't trust another woman to tell them about laundry or be resentful that she does it better than they do? What do you think? Are these commercials sexist? Personally, I would like to see some ads where some men spill something on their dress shirts or ties and get lessons in how to get the stains out. I think that at the very least, it's sexist to expect only women to be interested in clean laundry.
