Michelle obamas sneakers to charity event

Michelle Obama our first lady wore a 800.00 pair of sneakers to a charity event. It seems the media made a big deal out of it. To be she is a person of intrest and she should look good so I don't see any harm in it. I mean angela jolie I am sure wore exspesive things when she helped and visit the needy in Africa so what's the difference! She doing a charity event and helping people.she doing a good thing I think it's not about whats she's wearing but helping out and giving to charity is what's important. I want to know about your comments and views.

Unfortunately, there are those who will pick on everything Michelle Obama does whether she deserves it or not. I have heard several renditions of the shoe story and the cost of the shoes is different each time. I really don't see how Mrs. Obama can shop at a discount store, nor should she be expected to. She is the First Lady of the United States and should be allowed to pay what she likes for shoes as well as clothes. Some folks seem to think that, because things are tough economically, no one should be allowed to have or spend any money.
