TVs are fragile inside, they don't respond well to bumps or knocks, and the tube itself is a big vacuum tube..ever see a thermos flask implode? you don't want to be around that..Look online for repair services mentioning the TV Model #,or it might be worth checking with the place you bought the TV in the first place if they have a repair department,or could recommend one,or failing that, contact the manufacturer..Having not seen the problem,I'd rather a professional take a look at it for You,and they'd be better able to advise if a repair was possible,or if not,a replacement..If the TV's over 9 Years old,it might be time for a replacement anyway! I have a 22" Tube TV that's still hanging in there, and last evening while shopping saw a similar sized LCD TV with a built in DVD Player that cost the same as the tube one when I bought it 10 Years ago! the LCD prices have come well down!

Hey man careful don't try to repair your T.V yourself unless you are a professional because once i tried the same and got a current shock. So i advice to go to a technician or buy a new T.V.Don't perform any adventures. Wishing for your safety.
