So share your thoughts with me on this. I don't really know what to say because from what I gather, she is now a paid advocate for abstinence? How does that figure? Now I don't have a problem with abstinence in conjunction with other things, including information about birth control, being safe, pregnancy, adoption, abortion, and stds, but to say one is better or that teens should not have access to information about everything is wrong - in my opinion. Abstinence is NOT fool proof. It is not 'failsafe'. It requires a desire to be abstinent, and let me tell you, that is not how many teens feel. As an adult I would never consider that as an option It almost seems too that after you have 'made your own mistake', how dare you try to tell other people to NOT to do what you did? LOL! I'm not trying to be rude in pointing this out either. This would be like me telling my kids not to do something I did when they already know I didn't have a problem with it when I did it and don't have a problem with it now. They'd be right in questioning my motives because it's hypocritical.

It's kind of like certain religions that say it is wrong to kill someone or have an abortion but they see nothing wrong with killing a doctor that performs them. People can preach all they want, what they do behind closed doors is another story. Kinda like a certain actor that did a series of PSA's about not smoking them was photographed smoking when he was leaving a club.
