My husband is fond of watching tele novelas. Are you too?

It’s ironic that im not a fan of telenovelas. I usually sleep after the news program. Sometimes, the frequent viewing of telenovelas of my husband had been the cause of our petty quarrel. We have our tv inside the bedroom and I can’t sleep if there’s even the most minute light present. So there are times that I shouted at him for watching tv until the wee hours of the night. Are you like him too?

Watching t.v. for long hours can be a bit of a bother when your spouse is trying to sleep, or for you, when your trying to sleep. My fiance and I are go to bed at midnight or sometimes earlier, we respect each other in that we turn off the t.v. I have turned on the t.v. if I've had a frightful thought or dream, but I try to turn it off within a few minutes, I just use it as a distraction from what I dreamt.
My fiance and I have talked about what we want in our home, and one of the things I personally want is a retreat, which is a room off of our master bedroom where we can put a t.v. and be able to watch t.v. and not be bothered by the other if we're sleeping.

that's what we're planning to have. an extra room for the tv and computer would be great.if one doesn't want to sleep yet he can go to the other room.i sometimes share his passion in tv but not that often.

Good Luck to you! Hopefully we'll both get a home with a retreat so that we can be close to our spouses, but also without interferring with their sleeping, reading, or whatever it may be.

I know how you feel I use to go to bed no later than 1.o'oclok pm.
Now I stay up till arround 4 till 6 am..I watch Leo Laporte. his show is call
[Call For Help] it's all about computers I find I am learning allot off his show
He's the one who started twitter..you can find out all kinds of things to do with
latest tect.I have learn allot off his show.

Well as a husband myslf i would say I do watch what my wife loves to watch over TV. she is the one that loves the telenovelas on TV.
I am more like you are I watch news even if it airs very late a night. I also happen to love watching documentary shows like National Geographic and Discover channels. I think each of us do have our own likes and dislikes.

i find myself watching telenovelas too now. they say we have to share passion with our significant other. it's one way of connecting with the one you love. most of the time, i sleep earlier.

I've watched them a couple of times but not enough to disturb anyone sleeping. I don't follow them enough to catch the story lines so if its on I'll watch it and when a commercial comes I'll switch channels. I guess you could tape them and have him watch them at a better time.
